強度是指中空玻璃加工設備零件抵抗破壞的能力。零件結(jié)構(gòu)強度不足，將造成過大的塑性變形甚至斷裂破壞，使機器停止工作甚至發(fā)生嚴重事故。采用高強度材料、增大零件截面尺寸及合理設計截面形狀、采用熱處理及化學處理方法、提高運動零件的制造精度以及合理配置機器中各零件的相互位置等。均有利于提高設備零件結(jié)構(gòu)強度。

中空玻璃加工設備零件應具有良好的結(jié)構(gòu)工藝性。這就是說，在一定的生產(chǎn)條件下，零件應能方便而經(jīng)濟地生產(chǎn)出來，并便于裝配。零件的結(jié)構(gòu)工藝性應從零件的毛坯制造、機械加工過程及裝配等幾個生產(chǎn)環(huán)節(jié)加以綜合考慮。所以在進行該設備零件的結(jié)構(gòu)設計時，除了滿足零件功能上的要求和強度、剛度及壽命要求外，還應該對零件的加工、測量、安裝、維修、運輸?shù)确矫娴囊螅貏e注意，使零件的結(jié)構(gòu)全面地滿足以上各方面的要求。
